I’ve been in a room with Putin. He calls Ukrainians “Russians with accents.” His real fear isn’t NATO expansion, it’s democracy expansion. It shatters his entire argument for dictatorship at home. Because if Ukrainians embrace freedom, Russians may demand the same.

Trump’s poll numbers don’t matter. He has the military (Hegseth), ICE, DHS, and CBP to overturn the next election and stay in the White House. There’s no law enforcement left to stop him. CBP, ICE and Hegseth will follow unlawful orders. The Nat’l Guard isn’t strong enough to stop them.

I asked DEMs to stop shouting about discrimination against the trans community. I wanted to WIN the election and THEN make laws protecting them. DEMs are fighting a 1967 version of politics with FEW exceptions ( Newsome, Pritzker, Waltz). We elected a DNC leader whose skills I’m unsure of.

Today I rode in an Empower “cab”. The driver is from India. He knew more about current events and history than 95% of Americans. Our rampant ignorance gave us Trump. Republicans detest knowledge. Democrats need more voices like Newsome.
