That law is *not* intended to protect children. It is intended to identify every internet user and enable censorship and suppression of speech. “Won’t somebody think of the children” is just the usual pretext, when “terrorism” doesn’t stick.

As a homeless mom of two kids, who now runs a nonprofit that helps people in need, I can say that there's already an increase of people who are losing their stability, their home, their job, etc. There was a severe lack of resources long before these recent budget and program cuts.
