Preventable deaths at sea have not stopped. 25,470 people have gone missing in the central Mediterranean since 2014.

Libyan militias chase people in distress - one person drowned!

Yesterday, the so-called Libyan coastguard tried to force people back to Libya and chased them through the sea. When people fell into the water, they left them to die. One person drowned. This is murder!

My colleague Hussein was a dedicated nurse and father. Yesterday, he died of injuries from an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.

Our thoughts are with Hussein’s wife and young children.

His killing isn't a tragic accident, it's unacceptable proof that no one is safe from genocide.

Yesterday, a dinghy carrying 51 people, all from Sudan, sank in the Mediterranean Sea while fleeing from Libya to Greece. According to reports from Sudanese and Libyan media, the incident took place in the Libyan territorial waters.
