She reached out to me about 3 years ago, but I never forgive her for Brexit and every damn time we visited, she would say something bigoted, fascist or plain racist.

She died on Thursday. I keep soul searching, trying to feel sadness (because I'm "supposed to", right?), but I feel nothing.

Me and Mum stopped talking in 2015 after she went full fascist, loved Trump & Brexit, and wanted Boris to Make Britain Great Again. She told me not to contact her after my FB friends caught her lying about, well, everything she read in the Daily Mail.
