HD web rip of the banned 60 Minutes El Salvador's CECOT prison report - downloading right now (slowly) and will re-upload on my servers to mirror.
60 minutes CECOT segment. Recorded through my browser. HD quality. Not phone. Spread it around. If you're press, it's yours. Go nuts.

It's streaming on a Canadian website, but there is no telling for how long.

Traveling for the holidays? Stay well on your way by wearing a high-quality mask like an N95 in crowded indoor spaces like airports and planes. Also wash your hands frequently, cover your cough or sneeze, and avoid traveling if you’re sick.

I agree with all this — sick leave is essential to a healthy society. While we’re working on that, though, we need to make it a general norm that if you MUST be around others while sick, you wear a mask (preferably a good one).
3/ Isolation is important but only works if people can afford it. Many people simply can’t stay home when sick. Without meaningful sick pay, asking people to isolate is unrealistic. Better financial support is essential to reduce transmission.

Doug Ford’s Conservatives are taking an extended break from Queen’s Park until March 23.

People are struggling, ERs are packed, basic needs aren’t being met – and this government’s response is to ram through a bunch of harmful bills and then clock out. It’s undemocratic. #onpoli

That’s why an N95 respirator is a good way to stop submicron particles from passing from our mouth and nose to others. And protects us from the aerosols generated by others.
Easy peasy.
Don’t get COVID.
Get vaccinated.
Wear an N95 respirator.
Clean the air we all breathe.

Firstly, there is no mention of how public health officials ignored, denied and aggressively obstructed meaningful discussion and dissemination of the fact that COVID is predominantly spread by the airborne route.

Thanks to the Treasury Board of Canada for inviting me to serve as a panelist on yesterday's CCO Day of Learning, which was broadcast to thousands of government communicators across the country. Here are 12 of my comments, which I will attempt to weave into a paper at a later date:

Overhead today, “My son’s entire hockey team is sick after tournament on the weekend. All the coaches too, and most of the parents.”

While not nice to contemplate, covid is still infecting people, damaging our immune systems and triggering disability.

Historian Rutger Bregman is a well-respected proponent of a universal basic income. The Guardian has called him “the Dutch wunderkind of new ideas.”

The BBC invited Bregman to give this year’s Reith Lecture series.

Before airing, the BBC removed one sentence from his lecture, “A Time of Monsters.”

Sometimes when people ask me why I’m wearing a mask I say I’m traveling or have some important thing soon and can’t afford to get sick and miss it and that’s pretty much always true but I think it would be nice if it were more normalized to just say “I don’t want to get sick” and leave it at that
