Quite a major "shift" in our Magic hobby.... I gave my Anje deck as a Xmas present to my brother! I would like him to have more decks and also more varied decks, and he stated this deck (and Emry) is the most interesting of mine. moxfield.com/decks/OBov01...

Played a duel with Planechase, I played my coin-flipping deck and happened to get synergy going with the most important card in the deck, Krark's Thumb. My gf's Vito didn't really have answers.

Played two duels with Planechase
In the 1st one I was on my Elves deck and gf was on Dressed to Kill, but there was some confusion at the end, so at first we decided not to count it, but after looking at it more closely it emerged that gf wouldn't have been able to prevent my victory anyway..

Played a quick duel against gf using Planechase, I was on my bounce deck, and she on Vito. I got lucky with a Plane and dealt too much damage to her on her upkeeps, she wasn't able to respond quickly enough. Iron Maiden and good old Black Vise were sucking out her life total 🙂

Played a quick duel against gf using Planechase, I was on my bounce deck, and she on Vito. I got lucky with a Plane and dealt too much damage to her on her upkeeps, she wasn't able to respond quickly enough. Iron Maiden and good old Black Vise were sucking out her life total 🙂

Duel with Archenemy schemes, girlfriend's Minotaurs (with Neheb as commander) defeated my Dwarves and their Vehicles (Astor). She got a nasty scheme that made her creatures more badass and quite unblockable.

Had time for shared deck duel. We played Dressed to Kill, I managed to use Chandra's -7 ability and dealt about 10 damage during 1 turn to my bro and got the win. Realized a card like Staff of Compleation can be very powerful in this mode, since both players own all permanents...

Had time for a duel, again with shared deck, and Archenemy schemes. We played one of my bro's s decks again, Wrenn and Six. He was getting the upper hand, but I got extremely lucky with a scheme I drew ...

Played a shared deck match with my bro's Tuwasa, his "theft" deck. Ended up handing him a pretty clear defeat, at the end I had a bunch of enchantments and whatnot on the field while he had almost only lands, killed him with a single attack with his commander that I had gained control of.

Played a duel with Planechase. My gf (with Tannuk Landfall) pretty much crushed me (with Anje), she made well use of a plane that copied instant and sorcery spells.

We played 5 matches: one 2 vs 2 without add-on, one 2 vs 2 with Bounties, and three duels, one with Vanguard and the remaining two with Conspiracy and Archenemy Schemes respectively. The victories were split 3 to 2

Played duel with Archenemy schemes, I played my Food deck and gf played Donna Noble. A duel with Planechase against my bro. I was playing my mill deck and he one of his control decks as usual. He got lucky with a plane and was taking over the game, but I was able to hold on until the time ran out, so it was a draw. We had a few longs turns and should remember to use the 1-min timer

Finally played a 3-player match for the 1st time in over a year, this time with Archenemy schemes. It was looking like either me or my bro would win but then my gf surprised us and brought both of us down with an attack with her Minotaurs...

Yay, noticed my Mill deck, the paper version that is, has been illegal, maybe for a long time... it has for some reason contained 2 Tome Scour, one of them should be a Vantress Gargoyle... oh well, we decided that we won't cross out a bunch of matches in the stats. 😄 moxfield.com/decks/WSzQtH...

Played a duel without add-on: me with Flubs Cheerios vs. gf with Vito (though this time with Sorin, a planeswalker as commander). Took a long time until I got my 3rd land so I could try comboing off, and luckily for me, gf was also mana-screwed, but she played Sheoldred...

"Mixed" 2 vs 2 with Planechase: swayed back and forth but none of the decks managed to get too dominant, so time ran out and it was a draw.

We had time for some Mtg tonight - decided the mode randomly again & played a 2 vs 2 with Planechase & "mixed" teams. My poison deck Toxic Ajani managed to bring down Azami (my bro's new Wizards deck) quickly, and then only my land destruction deck Klothys was left. It never got going (as usual😒)..

We had time for some Mtg tonight - decided the mode randomly again & played a 2 vs 2 with Planechase & "mixed" teams. My poison deck Toxic Ajani managed to bring down Azami (my bro's new Wizards deck) quickly, and then only my land destruction deck Klothys was left. It never got going (as usual😒)..
We tried another Magic add-on, Vanguard, which is pretty simple, but my girlfriend was unlucky and got a Vanguard card that randomly switched control of two random permanents during her upkeep, so she lost one of her two lands and instead got one of my non-land permanents that were useless for her.

Played a #MtG duel using #Planechase. The new version of my Charge deck using the spacecraft #Inspirit as its commander debuted, but unfortunately it was crushed by my girlfriend's #Minotaurs, well assisted by a #Devil #Detective...

Played 3 games this weekend, all 1 v 3 Archenemy (decided randomly as usual)
Time ran out in 1st one but was 50 % chance I as AE wd've killed strongest of hero decks (my bro's Theft deck). Might not had time to kill others anyway
2nd was more uneven, my bro's Fateshifter as AE dominated...

Played 2 duels today
1st was fun, were both getting killed by plane & was matter of who going down 1st. Gf was gonna survive 1 more turn thanks to creature giving 1 life on upkeep, so I wd've lost instead but was able to kill creature & all lands. Game ended with my 5 insects as only permanents

Some end of summer (?) Magic - we played 3 matches, one 1 vs 3 with Archenemy and two 2 vs 2 with Bounties/Planechase, and they all took about 2.5 hours.

Another round of Magic with Archenemy: I played the "Betor" version of my Arcades deck so it worked differently than usual, and my gf played a new RG version of my Landfall deck using Tannuk as its commander. I got lucky with a few disruption cards and planes, so got the victory.
