The economics of books aren't quite the same as the economics of card sets. They cost less, but involve more dedicated work by one person, which means that in most cases, they take longer. A book represents a major leap of faith for a franchise like Magic.

Omens of Chaos is a YA novel set at Strixhaven about the first-ever class of interplanar students who have journeyed to the school via Omenpath.

Hey @magic.wizards.com team can I just say how much I love the addition of legendary creature pronouns in a clear, identifiable and official location? We've been asking for this for *years*.

A screenshot of Kilo, Apogee Mind, in the newest Legends Of article for Edge of Eternities. Under the creatures name for the article subheading, it lists "Mechan, it/its". This inclusion of every characters pronouns makes me so incredibly happy.
