My story exploded. Maybe in a good way.
I had an idea of what was happening along the way and started outlining, but I needed to write to figure out where things would go, so I wrote.

My 10 yo has a rule that before she can have screen time on the weekends she has to read for 30 mins, be creative for 30 mins, & practice trumpet for 20 minutes. 1 hour and 20 min.
It never fails that she spends so much time resisting that those 3 activities take her 3+ hours.

So far my 2024 goal for finding time to write has been going well. I might not get a lot of time in during the week. However, I'm going to try and use my weekends well!

When you discover a hidden backstory for your story before you've even started outlining said story. Is this too much world-building? Probably. 🤷

#WritingCommunity What’s everyone working on right now? I’m trying to get myself focused for long enough to write something. I just keep jumping from one thing to the next. Right now it’s world building for a possible Fantasy. #amwriting
