My god. He really is who he plays.
“When you drive a nail successfully, you feel like an absolute superhero. It’s incredible.” This is Nick Offerman delivering an endearingly earnest sermon about a hammer.
Nick Offerman Told Me That Swinging a Hammer Might Change My Life
Nick Offerman knows his way around a workbench, and he knows that DIYing is about more than saving a little money. Hear what he has to say about the humble hammer.

This is backup in our polling data as well. 65% of the respondents between 30 and 44 plan to vote for Wilson, and 59% of respondents 18-29. But it's all about turnout. When we narrow the sample just to likely voters, this race gets tight. www.thestranger.com/stranger-pol...

And so we see the real here. Soon there will be no American capitalist not tied to Trump's funny money. This is the afterlife of neoliberalism.
Column: Yes, the pictures of the destruction of the East Wing were shocking, but not so shocking as all the things we don’t know about this project, which is being paid for by some of the wealthiest people and corporations on the planet.
Column | Demolition is part of Trump’s master builder image
By Thursday, the White House’s East Wing was gone. The speed of destruction, and the projection of power, are part of the strongman playbook.

Can someone tell @npr.org they're not getting their funding back? This is not about a clash over the "drug trade." It's about the real possibility the US military murdered a civilian in Colombian waters.

The city is obsessed with shutting down unlicensed taco trucks and people selling fruit from tables, saying they've gotten complaints from vendors who paid their fees and got to be vendors the right way. I'm 100% with Charles on this one: Unauthorized vendors are a feature of real cities.

Wow. By all accounts, it seems a war has erupted in the far right. And I think those in the know know this but will do nothing about it. My hope is someone somehow puts the brakes on this situation before it devolves into more violence.
