The transatlantic relationship as we know it is over. Yes, we kinda knew this. But this is now official US White House policy. Not a sppech, not a statement. The West as it used to be no longer exists.

The issue primarily concerns gypsum waste. This is particularly paradoxical, as gypsum can actually be recycled infinitely, and appropriate recycling facilities exist in Germany. However, the allegedly illegal disposal in neighboring Czechia is apparently more lucrative.

Es geht vor allem um Gipsabfälle. Das ist besonders paradox. Denn Gips kann eigentlich unendlich oft recycelt werden, entsprechende Anlagen gibt es in Deutschland. Doch die mutmaßlich illegale Entsorgung im Nachbarland ist offenbar lukrativer.
