Having breakfast at a diner in CT, that posts 75c per egg surcharge. We joke that my husband is squandering funds with a 2-egg entree.

USDA reported wholesale price of eggs fell to $4.70 a dozen last week, not nearly worth the $9.00/doz surcharge here.
