A co-worker of mine (who is a judge), traveled by train from Montana to North Dakota for work this week. The train made a stop in Havre, MT, where ICE agents—armed and dressed in full military-style tactical gear—boarded the train.

Not the spiteful, debased anger manufactured by the performative, manipulative, and deranged demagogues who encourage people to hate others for who they are.
But rather: the righteous indignation of those who value right over wrong, and seek truth over lies.

Mahatma Gandhi figured out that the best way to turn a spotlight back on barbarity is to be the change you want to see in the world. This bishop did that. As many have noted, appeals to kindness, love, decency, and mercy make MAGA outraged because it changes their script. More, please
