Just called the 24-hr nurse advice line thru my med plan as I’ve had persistent reflux the last few days (well.. since 5yo, but drs keep ignoring that fact). She immediately got super concerned, kept asking if an adult was with me, wouldn’t let me continue, and then connected me to LAFD.

Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t know diseases had an age requirement (mind you, I’m in my 30s and have had symptoms since early childhood)

For everyone paying attention to earthquake & tsunami info, a lot of funding for tsunami & earthquake monitoring comes from NOAA, but the fed gov is cutting their funding. Call your legislators, tell them to fund NOAA & USGS, who in turn funds regional network operators, like AK Earthquake Center
