Howdy, Falling Leaves & Pumpkin Dreams; Happy Fall! Autumn is my favorite season of the year. It's not because of the pumpkin spice, although I do enjoy pumpkin pie. I love the crunch of leaves under foot, the color changes as the trees prepare for their winter slumber, the chill of the air. The rain. I love the heavy fall rains and the petrichor that follows.

I've been working on a one-page weird drawing game for about four weeks. I playtested my first prototype of it recently. Come along with me on a journey of ants. Yes, My Queen! is a one-page one-player one-hive one-mind sort of game. It's common to think of these sort of one-page games as RPGs but it's not really an RPG, so I'm trying to stay away from that taxonomy.

Presenting the new bag for Flip Stack Burger Shack! This version will be what's available at the Indie Games Night Market at PAX Unplugged.
It gets better. We ended up taking the train, a 25 min arrival time, and packed to the gills. Then, the bus to get home never showed and had no live updates to its location, so we walked the 2 mile distance home from Roosevelt Station. But please give the corpos more tax breaks!
Seattle public transit rant: It’s 10:40 on a Saturday night and the E line, one of the most used bus routes, out of downtown has stopped running, despite the schedule saying otherwise. No notice, no detour warnings, nothing. It’s just not running. Thanks, Bruce Harrell and Seattle City Council! 1/2
