I have had fewer issues with a more sheer fabric or lace in terms of moisture. I bought some wider lace ribbon at the store, and it has been perfect. However, with both of these options, fraying has been a problem. I haven't found a good solution for that yet.

I started with using an old filter as a guide and cutting out cotton from fat quarters I liked. I've noticed it tends to hold moisture if you are wearing it all day. So cotton can work for short times, but I wouldn't recommend it for all day.

Thanks! Other things I forgot I have in there are cotton rounds and tegaderm for days where a lot of talking is needed. The cotton rounds help with condensation if you fold them in the bottom of the flo mask. The tegaderm can be helpful as a barrier if my skin gets irritated and the mask is rubbing.

The sticker is perfect for my mask customizing kit! I put the fabric I cut to the shape of the @flomask.bsky.social filters, extra filters, extra masks for others, and now my extra mask chains.

Thanks! I'm excited to have a way to glam them up a bit that doesn't add any breathing resistance. I have a bunch of thin fabric cut to cover the filters, but it can get a bit annoying for an all-day thing.

Okay, I'm headed to Etsy now! That is so cute!

Would these be able to work with a flo mask? I am obsessed with how cute these are, but not sure if it'd still be cute with my main mask.

And I think their answer was to make art.
Despite corruption and greed and lawlessness.
Make art.
When your music is banned from radio stations.
Make art.

Even when they burn your books.
Make more art.
Make so much art that they can never ban or burn or block or in any way silence you.
