I’m telling you right now, if you get self conscious about wearing masks in public, get a mask chain. Every single time I wear a mask chain, I get a compliment, and even if that person doesn’t mask it opens the conversation, shows intention, and adds confidence!

I am really enjoying volunteering with this organization. We are building a positive community working towards positive change.

a mask is the thing you’re looking for. it is the visible reminder of how things have changed, that you acknowledge we are not coveted “normal” times—but unlike donation-earned tote bags or symbolic beaded bracelets, the mask is community care in both form & immediate function.

My mask chain from @saeboria.bsky.social arrived, and it is even cuter in person! Of course I also needed the glittery sticker as well.

Inspired by @saeboria.bsky.social and excited for the mask chain I ordered from her Etsy, I decided to make some super quick chains for my @flomask.bsky.social, using strung beads and lobster clasps from Joanns.
I absolutely love how they turned out!

And I think their answer was to make art.
Despite corruption and greed and lawlessness.
Make art.
When your music is banned from radio stations.
Make art.

Even when they burn your books.
Make more art.
Make so much art that they can never ban or burn or block or in any way silence you.

what do you mean the wonka prequel movie had a subplot of paying off the police with chocolate and the chief of police becomes at least 300 lbs heavier over the course of the movie including a song about it
