I just asked a class of 13-year-olds what they thought of this. Most said that it was probably a good idea and were able to make convincing arguments in its support. My takeaway? The kids know that they need our help. A ban gives them an easy out when it comes to shutting down social media.

Started using PressReader Surprised to find the extensive volume of content available to me via my NB Public Libraries. It pretty much eliminates the need for online subscriptions. #PressReader #NBPublicLibraries #News #Free

I now have the urge to read "The Lord of the Rings" for a third time. Something about a story of unlikely victory over a world descending into unspeakable evil and darkness is rather appealing at the moment.

Checking out this platform as an alternate to the one that shall not be named. The interface looks good, unwanted advertising hasn’t gained a foothold, users seem civil - so far, so good.
