I'll never really get over losing SFA. The memories I made there are probably more important to me than any other park - being able to just hop in the car, drive 15 minutes, and get on a coaster or buy the kiddo a popcorn and walk around is something I took for granted. But, its time to look forward

Well, the countdown has hit a pause as I mourn the loss of our home park, Six Flags America.
I just dont really feel like looking forward to our next vacation at the moment. It stings more than I anticipated.
A great park run by fantastic people, and visited by incredible guests.

It was so rough to say goodbye this weekend. We had a great time, but the 4 year old got a very harsh lesson in "no buddy, we will not be back next year."
We'll miss it. It had been getting so much better over the last 3 years. Mergers ruin everything.
