Im too old to care about a dumb hat but man it felt like such a win to finally believe in my own brain enough to know it had to be there somewhere and go back for it.

So I took my phone, stuck it as far under the seat as I could, until my hand hit the metal bar, and took a picture.

As I was getting off the plane I stopped and let everyone else get off. Then I asked if I could go look one more time. They let me and I felt around - nothing. I told myself - there's no way I didn't get on this plane without it on my head. Trust yourself. I may be a mess, but I have to trust myself

Forced to deal with just how stressed out I am. It was probably good for me but it was a bad time. Vowed to do better, be more present. Maybe look into ADD meds after stopping them 14 years ago. And vowing not to eBay a new hat. It was gone, I lost it and I need to get myself together.

Went from a "i can play this after an evening at the airport bar" to a "oh I gotta be on my game here" quick. Love it.

Stopped when I was punching out of my depth and switched to Cult of the Lamb, which I've been chipping at all year.

All in all, a good flight.
