It would be nice to see mainstream media acknowledge that every alarmist in their ranks about Trump and his henchmen has been correct, and every single "Let's all calm down" guy--a posture of blasé detachment that is consistently over-rewarded in legacy media--has called it wrong from day one.

Just for context, 34 NBA seasons would be ~15,000 player seasons.
16 such fractures in 15,000 seasons for the rest of the NBA, compared 3 in 9 seasons for Embiid.
These aren't repetitive stress injuries or re-aggravations of existing injuries. It's really, really, bad luck.

I dug up a study from 2020 that found just 53 incidences of facial fractures over 34 years of NBA play. That included just 15 orbital bone fractures and one sinus fracture.
Embiid has now had three just by himself.

Was Wicked the best movie I’ve ever seen. No. Was it one of the best yes. Cynthia Erivo is everything you want in a broadway star put on the big screen. She is superb. Ariana Grande was fantastic and I loved how she altered her pop singing voice for the role. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
