Good morning! Wrote about Houston's new math of "anti-Moreyball" and how it's part of a larger trend in the league

These aren't Daryl Morey's Rockets, but they may be setting an offensive trend again

This goes for Amazon, too.

Remember when it wasn’t 80% cheap dropshipped garbage?
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

Do we *have* to let an NFC South team into the playoffs this year...?

The Commanders are 4.5 games out of a wild-card spot and 5 games behind the Eagles for the NFC East lead.

Why bring your franchise QB back to play out the string on a lost season when he's already gotten hurt twice this year?

I wrote about the fake account blowup on X this weekend. A genuine post-truth nightmare and proof that these companies have polluted their platforms so thoroughly and traded reality for profit that they've undermined the very idea of what the internet is supposed to be.

The Sixers' record during the three years of the Process:

19-63
18-64
10-72

The Wizards' record over the last three seasons:
15-67
18-64
1-15

At @libertyballers.bsky.social, I ask: When is it time to send in the Colangelos to Washington?
www.libertyballers.com/76ers-analys...
Where is the national outrage about the Washington Wizards’ rebuild?
The Wizards have a worse record over the past few seasons than the Process Sixers did. Send in the Colangelos!

Let's say you have a coworker who 30% of the time is really helpful and makes your job easier. But 70% of the time you have to do basically double the work to cover for them.

Would you want to keep working with that coworker?

That's the Zion conundrum

Saw a Cybertruck with a Don’t Tread On Me license plate today.

What a brave way to admit to the world that you’re going to die a virgin.

2022: The Eagles make the Super Bowl

2023: One of their coordinators is completely unqualified and sinks their season

2024: The Eagles make (and win!) the Super Bowl

2025: One of their coordinators…

Surely Eagles fans and the media will handle them blowing a 21-point lead against the Cowboys well

I do not want to hear "Buffalo Bills" or "Baltimore Ravens" and "Super Bowl" in the same sentence this year, please and thank you

I think we might have a few fairly obvious wrong-team-favored situations today…

(Yes, I know JJ McCarthy is cheeks.)
Packers QB Jordan Love is a go today, but he'll be fighting through an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder. This injury (aka separated shoulder) left Love visibly bruised and if it was his right shoulder, he wouldn't be playing. Instead, he was full go in practice.

Nikola Jokic is gonna have to average 40-point triple-doubles at this rate.

I still believe the Nuggets are the biggest threat to OKC this year... but these injuries are not helping.
Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon has sustained a Grade 2 right hamstring strain and will be re-evaluated in 4-to-6 weeks, sources tell ESPN.

VJ Edgecombe is OUT today vs. the Heat.

No matter what happens today, the Eagles are still the defending Super Bowl champions, while the Cowboys haven’t even made it to the NFC title game since I was in elementary school.

Go Birds.
