i fed the recipe for my byerly’s The Cake That Makes You Drunk into the app while we were beta testing (and thank god i did because byerly’s has since killed their cookbook) and it nailed the scrape. what i really like is that it automatically detects durations and creates matching timer buttons.

this is what i’ve got marinating in the fridge rn. people tend to not really use their oven for anything other than bake so we emphasize the different cook modes and the fact that they do different things. if you have a recent Wolf oven the app will also program the oven according to the recipe

2x4s are really 1.5 x 3.5 (don’t think about it) which means two I-beamed 2x4s are 7”, so my vertical runners are 24” instead of 31”. even better

the peninsula will also have an oven and cooktop in it so i’m building structural support rather than relying on particleboard to support it. conveniently, these supports are rings of 23x31, very easy to measure and make
