A GEM, THANK YOU. sitting down to write my public comment for the project right now. I must admit that I drove on I-94 today to get to the suburbs of Brooklyn Park and a ball of dread weighted me down. instead of concrete nothingness, what if where I had been was a beautify at-grade boulevard

my most formative experience with a fellow bus rider was us yelling at the two cars attempting to park right in front of the e-line bus stop AS THE BUS WAS COMING BEHIND them. we got them to move out of the way, and I never felt so united with a stranger

we should make a list of could've-been-elite neighborhood intersections and my suggestion would be 22nd and Lyndale. Grocery store, cafe, ice cream shop, and food truck - but the aura is diminished by the godawful gas station with the impatient motorists trying to run over pedestrians

oooooh I must try next time! I LOVE their happy hours pricing; the fried chicken sandwich and the Korean bbq tacos have me sat. I have gone there enough times that I riff raff with the staff. WE LOVE A NEIGHBORHOOD SPOT

a few books on bikes, and joked about "where did bikes even come from?" (the staff's answer was "well, every minnesotan born ever came out of the womb with a bike). Then I walked home. This is the 15-minute city the suburbanites hate for you to have.
