No one is taking the bait. Regular people armed only with whistles and phones are trying to prevent their neighbors from being disappeared by unaccountable masked armed goons. The differential in power and force between these two sides is so immense it is laughable to even consider them together.

This is fair, but there is also a difference between voting after 4 years of relatively sane leadership and the fascism actively assaulting communities. The soil may now be more fertile for certain messages than it was previously. Though the information environment is only more fucked than before...
