Don't know much about this project but want this. I'm assuming this is a DIY thing.

Texas is the most freedom of speech.... The mostest

“I’m emotionally shellshocked right now,” said one professor in the Texas Tech system. “What does it say about academic freedom? It says we don’t have it.”

🚨Job ALERT🚨! My old postdoc is available!

I cannot emphasize enough how much a life-altering position this was for me. It gave me the experience that I needed for my current role. As a postdoc, I was able to define my projects and acquire a lot of new skills as well as refine some I already had.

My book Cultural Analytics in R: A Tidy Approach has just been published! It showcases how tidy data can be used in cultural analytics workflows, from text analysis, machine learning, network science, etc. Check it out: link.springer.com/book/10.1007...

For those curious, this is the first book (that I am aware of) that utilizes a myriad of the growing "tidyverse," such as tidynetworks, tidymodels, and tidytext. Despite the name, it does not focus only on utilizing the tidy approach and deals with situations where base-R is more practical.

This is great! Do you have an epub version?

Apply. Better you with a conscience than the others. It’s not like they are going to not spend the money if you don’t apply. They are just going to give it to some moron that has no principles.

Let me know how these go. They seem like works that our faculty would enjoy discussing.

Ah I see. Well tell the friends congratulations from a stranger lol. 😆

Congratulations on the addition to your lovely family!

As for the typography, I mean I’ve seen worse. I could read it, and it is a stencil and based on the way that “future” is written involves using a thicker stroke. If you used like a sharpie, I think it would be fine.

Generalized Linear Model

I think the order that would benefit is likely base-R and then the easystats package. If they need tidy stuff, they would have the skills to learn on their own. For 90%+ of research, I think this will suffice and will teach good statistical habits (checking regression plots, etc.)
