I'm not sure where you got the take that I was correcting you, but since you apparently have a need to show off a chip on your shoulder, congrats I guess?

Also, it's worth mentioning that Cratchit lived in London, which was an expensive place to live, thus amplifying his poverty. But the same can be said about fixed minimum wages in modern society.
nafnlaus.bsky.social
It's an interesting take (and was my first reaction), but another way you can look at it is relative labour earnings, eg. not looking at what Cratchit can buy in absolute terms, but how poor he was in relative terms. And in relative terms, his salary does amount to about $13,50/hr (I get $13,65/hr).

seeing this screenshot and a lot of ₊˚⊹♡ discourse ♡⊹˚₊

1) this is from 2 years ago, privacy policies change
2) pretty sure hive deletes customer data after like 2 weeks

hive is NOT generative AI, they use AI models and traditional ML for spam and abuse and safety purposes
jdreben.omg.lol
What’s up with this… Is 1) The Hive really being used, and 2) using images here for generative AI? Pretty bad look if true

Because you preheat the car, the snow detaches, but can't run off past the trunk, then you open it & it slides in.

But that's a side issue. The answer to your question is, in Europe in general, Model 3 is about 1/3rd of Tesla sales. In Norway it's only 16%, while in the UK, it's 47% (2025 YTD).
nafnlaus.bsky.social
It's an old TSLAQ myth based on a couple anecdotal reports from early model cars that "water pours into the trunk". This doesn't happen. The gutters work fine for water. The irony is that there actually *is* a design issue, but it's not about water, it's about *slush* sliding into the trunk.
nafnlaus.bsky.social
If this is true, then their price points are a major collision with the existing lineup. Wherein they'd need to have a major distinguishing factor, such as a different market profile (such as a hatchback).

New Tesla "about 10% cheaper than the current Model Y". But that's kind of a dumb claim, as the Model Y isn't their cheapest model :Þ Thus:

🇩🇪
MY: €46k
M3: €41k
New: ~€41,4k

🇬🇧
MY: £45k
M3: £40k
New: ~£40,5k

🇺🇸
MY: $45k
M3: $42,5k
New: ~$40,5k

🇨🇳
MY: ¥263k
M3: ¥235k
New: ~¥237k

Lame if true.

I presume it's going to be a "half generation" vehicle, because that's already what had been discussed on the calls. Some generational upgrades, but not on new lines, so they can't do all of the things they planned to. But it will get COGS down somewhat (unclear how much).
nafnlaus.bsky.social
Honestly, it shouldn't be that difficult. I'd use 3M chemical filter cartridges designed for gas masks, and you could either 3d print an adapter or just improvise one (such as with duct tape or whatnot) on the blower's intake side.

For a while there was a joke going around the Teslasphere that it would/should be called the Model Q - originally to poke fun at TSLAQ for claiming Tesla was going bankrupt in '17-19, but later to poke fun at Musk's radicalization (Q as in QAnon ;) ).
nafnlaus.bsky.social
Hopefully they're finally getting around to launching the "Model 2" or whatever it will be called, rather than another vaporware AI/robotics thing. Or the next Make-Musk-Richer plan (e.g. X.AI buyout, etc)

It honestly shocked me, and turned me deeply cynical, how the west just turned a blind eye to it.

(Just to be clear: if they would *just leave*, I would wish no harm on them whatsoever, and that would by far be my preferred option. But being present in support of hostilities = a justifiable target, and let harm come to them rather than those defending their lands)

Mycotoxins can be so insidious, too. Some can have little to no effect for *weeks* after you eat them (for example, orellanine). Or if you want *really* long latent periods, some (for example, false morels) are carcinogenic. And then there's Paxillus Syndrome, which requires chronic exposure.
nafnlaus.bsky.social
Or, alternatively, learn the difference between

* Active, actionable threats and ill-wishes
* Harassment of membership of the site vs. hostility against people not present
* Ameliorating factors in the targeting (would it have been wrong to wish ill on Hitler? No? Then there's nuance)

"Wishes of harm: Expressions of desire for harm directed at a specific person or group".

I explicitly wish harm on every Russian soldier in Ukraine: the mainstream position in my country and Europe as a whole. Permanently ban me for it if you think that line in your TOS is enforceably-unambiguous.

Unfortunate update: Link reached out to BlueSky and got email back now on reason.

His appeal is denied. He will remain permanently banned on BlueSky’s side.

Here are the screenshots he just sent me as of 8:22 AM EST(my time)
A screenshot of an email from the Bluesky Moderation Team with the subject line “Bluesky Account Behavior” sent at 22:15. The email states that a Bluesky account controlled by the recipient, with the handle @spacelawshitpost.me, posted a reply with an image where the alt text reads: Charlie Kirk sitting in a white T-shirt that says “Freedom.” A negative consequence follows. The email indicates this post violates Community Guidelines regarding violent or threatening speech, specifically listing threats of violence or physical harm against individuals, groups, institutions, or the general public, and incitement of self-harm or suicide. A screenshot of an email continuation from the Bluesky Moderation Team displaying a bulleted list of Community Guidelines violations. The first bullet point describes threats of violence or physical harm as including threats or encouragement of violence against individuals, groups, institutions, or the general public. The second bullet point defines incitement of self-harm or suicide as content that encourages self-harm or suicide. The third bullet point explains wishes of harm as expressions of a desire for harm directed at a specific person or group. Below the bullets, a paragraph states that users may not use Bluesky to break the law or cause harm to others and that all users must be treated with respect. The next paragraph informs the recipient that as a result of these violations, your account has been taken down. A closing paragraph thanks the user for doing their part to keep Bluesky a welcoming and empowering place for all users and instructs them to email moderation@blueskyweb.xyz if they have questions or wish to appeal the decision. The email ends with the signature Bluesky Moderation Team. A screenshot of an email reply from a user with the initials AJ and profile picture to the Bluesky Moderation Team, sent at 08:01 with the subject line Re: Bluesky Account Behavior. The email states the user wants to appeal the decision, asserting there was no threatening or violent connotation behind their use of the image. The user explains that the Charlie Kirk post is not a threat but rather a reaction meme expressing disappointment, with no threat made and no incitement of violence. The user mentions they have attached multiple examples and explanations, specifically 12 images in total, demonstrating the use of the image as a reaction meme. Below this text is a blue hyperlink to a Bluesky post URL. At the bottom of the screenshot is an embedded image showing a Bluesky post from a user with the handle @britculpsapp.bsky.social with several emoji reactions and a repost indicator showing Bluesky Elder. The post text reads: how to explain: this has been used as a reaction image to spending $20 on doordashing wendy’s & isn’t a threat. The timestamp shows October 5, 2025 at 3:34 PM. A screenshot of an email from the Bluesky Moderation Team sent at 08:11 with the subject line Re: Bluesky Account Behavior addressed To: Hide My Email. The email reads:

I keep getting Youtube ads for a "Libary" of 3d assets, and I can't tell you how intensely I have an urge to grab the voiceover artist by the shoulders, shake him back and forth and shout "IT'S PRONOUNCED *LIBRARY*!!! CAN YOU NOT SEE THE 'R'???" every time it comes on.

People need to understand that the "Killbots" video is *not in line with actual current technical realities*, as much as they want to believe it. Maybe some day in the future. Not today.
