The Senate Homeland Security Committee's oversight hearing on February 12 at 9 AM should be very interesting. Two panels of witnesses: Todd Lyons & co. and Minnesota officials & reps (including MN AG Keith Ellison).

I watch a lot of Congressional hearings (since T 1.0). MOC, even those who are lawyers, don't know how to ask Q's. Just read a script staffers wrote for them. Swalwell's not like that; he tends to have an edgy quality to his Q's.

FWIW, I watched the hearing. Garbarino (chair) was even-handed in enforcing rules. A GOPer tried to go over his time for Q'ing & kept pushing Garbarino to let him but Garbarino, calmly but firmly, wouldn't let him do it. I've watched his committee before. He's fair in dealing with both sides.

And (I think) the respective Rules adopted by the Senate and House prohibit a senator/rep from calling a colleague a name or 'personally' attacking them.

And "Hon" without the "." doesn't work for me either.
