Holy shit! During the national anthem at the US Open men's final, the moment Trump is shown on the jumbotron the entire stadium erupted in boos. To say the pedophile president is loathed in his own hometown would be an understatement. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣👇

“[NIH] in some respects caused the pandemic”: right, and next these people might tell us the National Weather Service causes hurricanes.

TAPPER: 14 Republicans say you're risking undermining critical research by holding up NIH funding

VOUGHT: If they were a company, their stock price would in shambles. They in some respects caused the pandemic. You have an entire institute that does nothing more than DEI research at the NIH.

It appears that Judge Laplante issued this order from the bench today and had not yet released a written opinion; he will also immediately stay (suspend) his order so the Trump administration can appeal. www.reuters.com/legal/govern...

Do not lose hope.

You are not alone.

Most of America rejects this.

The people do not want an authoritarian regime—we do not want oligarchy, we do not want Christian nationalism, we do not want techno-fascism.

And we’re more powerful than they’ll ever be. The people united will never be defeated.

Some U.S. media (such as the Washington Post here) trace U.S.-Iranian animosity back to the 1979 Islamic Revolution, conveniently forgetting that the CIA helped overthrow a democratically elected Iranian government in 1953, forcing Iranians to endure decades of the Shah’s brutal rule.

🚨Stephen Miller gets his way. Just a few days after Ag. Sec. Rollins convinced Trump to briefly back down, quotas and indiscriminate raids are back.

Farms, restaurants, and hotels are now subject to ICE raids again, with intense pressure on ICE to hit 3,000 arrests a day. Miller remains in charge.

A “shift” never happened. A chaotic raid at a worksite and a warrantless sweep in our communities have the same outcome. Bullshit rhetoric aside, they’re hunting us down while we’re trying to feed you.

Who’s actually in charge?

I need everyone on Normal People internet to know that American Girl Doll Instagram is doing doll protests today. There are tiny t-shirts and signs. AND THEN I realized it's a joint protest with the Barbie ppl, where there are EVEN TINIER SIGNS.

Due to a shelter-in-place order and ongoing safety concerns following a shooting that targeted two elected officials, the No Kings protest in Northeast Minneapolis has been canceled.

Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the communities impacted by this horrifying violence.

Around the time that Kilmar Abrego Garcia was indicted in the Middle District of Tennessee, the chief of the criminal division in that district posted this on LinkedIn:

Earlier today, after nearly 15 years as an Assistant United States Attorney, I resigned as Chief of the Criminal Division at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Tennessee.
It has been an incredible privilege to serve as a prosecutor with the Department of Justice, where the only job description I've ever known is to do the right thing, in the right way, for the right reasons. I wish all of my colleagues at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Nashville and across the Department the best as they seek to do justice on behalf of the American people.

Republicans can only lose 3 Senate votes on Trump's Big Ugly Bill — and these senators are the most vulnerable in 2026:

-Collins (ME)
-Tillis (NC)
-Sullivan (AK)
-Husted (OH)
-Moody (FL)
-Cornyn (TX)
-Ernst (IA)

If they represent you, tell them to vote NO.
