I made a game in a week for #riggyjam7. I wanted to challenge myself and use Godot, an engine I had zero experience in.
The game is short and a bit slim on features, but it accomplishes what I set out to do, albeit with less than I envisioned.

When this album came out I was still a fairly new parent, and part of that meant I was rocking a toddler to sleep every night. To keep myself awake, I would wear earbuds and listen to music. This album occupied that space for many months. I will always associate it with holding my little girl.
It’s been two years of ITG,BTW. I love that I got to make it with my best friend and we both stay so proud of it. I love that we’re making new things and we hold this album in such high regard still - as a jumping off point and a grounding force. ❤️

i think the biggest fundamental Thing turn-based rpg devs can do to improve their combat is to consider turn economy. there's a lot deeper nuance you could take into this, but on the surface level, everyone who's played an older game has felt this:
