I read Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White for #transrightsreadathon #trr25 #booksky

A very intense, gory book. Thankfully, I couldn't relate to the religious trauma, but I don't think that took away from the effectiveness of the book. 4.5⭐

On International Women's Day, I'll just say that in January I read "The Will To Change" by bell hooks, and it taught me a lot about my own masculinity and how I should engage with the project of feminism.

I'd strongly recommend reading it for everyone, but especially for men.

Echo by Pam Muñoz Ryan

A beautiful book inside and out and one that has stuck with me since I read it at age 12. Though it's a middle grade book, I think any fan of historical fiction could enjoy it.

Listen to your children read. Read to your children. Read alongside your children. Take them to libraries. Talk about what reading means to you & what it can unlock.
Tell them it doesn’t matter if it’s comics, magazines or books as long as they’re engaged with the written word. #WorldBookDay

ive started read For Whom the Bells Tolls by Ernest Hemingway. im not really a historical fiction reader and idk much about the Spanish civil war so i wasnt sure id like it.

But i really do and i think it is as relevant as ever right now. it is not just about war, but courage, growth, and love
