This has nothing to do with crime. This is an attempt to crush political dissent.

Never before, in our entire 250 year history, has the military or immigration agents been used like this. It's dystopian, illegal, and it should stop.

Obviously not the main point here, but it's interesting how this is framed as content rather than policy.

"BREAKING" is typically what journalists or influencers say when they have a big story -- not what government officials say when they launch "undercover" operations

You can joke about Pam Bondi’s ridiculous unprofessionalism all you want, but I’m deeply shocked by it: She acts as if she fears absolutely no consequences, convinced that there will be no more political power transfers. — This should shake everyone to their core.

Of course they are! Why did they not see this coming?!???
Republicans are mulling deep cuts in safety net spending, partly to offset big tax cuts aimed mostly at the wealthy. But some programs they propose to cut reach not just the poorest Americans but also struggling working class voters, many of whom helped elect Donald Trump in November.
Trump Drive to Cut Safety Net Could Hit His Voters
The new administration wants to slash aid for health, food and housing, but many of those programs now reach the struggling working class he is courting.

There's 3 seconds left on the clock. You're down by one point. Who do you give the basketball to?

Lebron James? Steph Curry?

Nope. You put it in the hands of 8th Grader Cooper Thorson.

He just hit the shot of a lifetime.

Interesting perspective. Going back further than we thought. We just have to outsmart them!
“You can tell what kind of conservative a person is by discovering what year they want to go back to,” our columnist David Brooks writes. “For Trump, it seems to be sometime between 1830 and 1899.”
