I don't really have a recognisable online handle, but i go by NCRsimp or "Zoomiest guy" on most platforms. I play age of sigmar, and my niche in that space is conversions/proxy projects. My other big hobby besides that would be gym ig.

I honestly struggle to think who would enjoy The Long Dark besides for Gen-Xers from Yukon who miss "the good old days" because this game is actually awful

Games workshop will produce 24-karat gold one week and then raw unfiltered dogshit the very next one, just entirely impossible to get a damn grasp on what causes this to occur
Actually incredible that the same company that produced this week's AoS battlescroll (good, excellent even) could also produce the orruk warclans tome that got leaked a few day ago (warcrime, not worth the paper it's printed on)

Playing Metro Exodus has convinced me that every low time-to-kill single player fps needs a dedicated set of "lean" buttons by fucking law. That game is only as difficult as it because you have to put your whole stinking Russian corpus outside of a wall to even shoot your damn gun

I think a disconnect i have from a certain subset of gamers, tabletop players, and especially tabletop RPG players is that I genuinely don't get the "Playing for flavor" idea. I like flavor, but at the end of the day i play games liike they're games, and games are meant to be won
