I'm a big believer that there are "No Called Strikes" in investing. I write on Seeking Alpha and Substack, covering a small number of companies.

Alright, I've been on the fence for quite awhile now, but I think it is time to give Substack a try....

First post is a more fleshed-out writeup on Taitron Components ($TAIT)

Longer, multi-post thread on the case for $TAIT as an investment.

Main attractions is the price of the shares relative to the company's assets. $TAIT is a net-net trading at about a 30% discount to its net cash position. Cash burn is minimal, the company has hard assets, and they even pay a div.

I admit I don't understand $THRY's recent negative beta. I don't know why broader market enthusiasm would be a negative? I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts

$TAIT and $THRY in the portfolio like peanut butter and jelly. Net-net asset play paired with hidden growth story.

$TAIT is silly cheap now, post delisting announcement selloff. Their real estate alone is probably worth north of $12mm, plus $10mm of cash/short-term investments, against no long-term debt and an $8mm market cap. Generating positive cashflow from operations. Silly cheap

It's worth noting that there's a generational aspect to this. Racial resentment among white Americans decreases with the younger generations.
Those claiming Dems should retreat on racial justice aren't hard-headed realists, they're pushing against the electoral tide rather than leaning into it. The story of Gen Z isn't about racist backlash or red-pilled young men. It's the most racially progressive generation in American history. 🧵
