all discourse aside, there is one machine with consciousness. it's printers. they are alive and conscious and they hate you and they'd take your arm clean off if you let them. never trust a printer.

Random Fan Art, day 70: Terrors of the Tomb
#Pokemon #PaperMario
I still have a few of these left!
Tutankoopa from Paper Mario holding a Squirtle (who is withdrawn into its shell except for the head/tail) in his hand as if he's about to throw it. Below him is a Cofagrigus and two Trapinches. Tutankoopa also has a (shiny) Trapinch head on his headdress instead of a Chain Chomp. The art is drawn in a simplistic, mural-like style as if on the wall of a tomb or ancient temple.

IF YOU ARE GERMAN, YOU NEED TO CONTACT YOUR MEPs AND DEMAND THEY OPPOSE CHAT CONTROL

-RIGHT-
-NOW-

the link below contains individual emails and everything, PLEASE do not sleep on this!

We are alarmed as well. If you are in Germany, write to your representatives. You'll find the email addresses here: 👉 tuta.com/blog/chat-co...
Signalapp on X: We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a
catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled
opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could
spell the end of the right to privacy in Europe.

A 1991 advertisement for the PC version of the dungeon crawling RPG, Eye of the Beholder, by Westwood Associates

Jeff Easley's door busting piece illustrating the backdrop of the page was also used for the 1988 October cover of Dragon Magazine for their "Halloween Greetings" issue. Scary!
"Explore AD&D Computer Fantasy Role-Playing Like Never Before!

YOU ARE THERE...

Introducing Eye of the Beholder volume I of the first graphically based AD&D computer fantasy role-playing saga -- The Legend Series!

Stunning 3-D graphics and explosive sound deliver mesmerizing face-to-face combat encounters!

Easy "point-and-click" commands and 3-D point of view create a "you are there" feeling throughout your entire adventure. Everything you experience, including movement, spell-casting and combat, is from your point of view! AD&D computer fantasy role-playing has never been like this!

Legend has it there's a criminal conspiracy hiding in the Waterdeep sewers. Is this true? Well, if someone is hiding down here, we're going to find them... and destroy them!""

Westwood Associates' classic dungeon crawling adventure helped to set a new standard in the genre with its graphics, gameplay mechanics, and ease-of-use. It would also help Westwood lay the foundation for the sequel and in creating their own IP -- Lands of Lore: Throne of Chaos -- a few years later. Jeff Easley's illustration for Dragon Magazine's 1988 Halloween issue was his first time on the cover! The piece was entitled "Halloween Greetings".
