Mega heat pumps are coming. It’s great to see that so many projects are now underway around the world.

There’s a real competition on who builds the biggest heat pump.

Technology has come a long way and keeps getting better.

What looks like ‘overdiagnosis’ is really a system struggling to provide continuous care

Ditch the target culture and provide holistic, personal, care.
#TaxTheRich to pay for it.
What looks like ‘overdiagnosis’ is really a system struggling to provide continuous care
Diagnosis rates are rising because the NHS pathway is overwhelmed and fragmented, not because distress is being exaggerated.

Human rights aren’t abstract ideals. They’re essential safeguards that protect our dignity at work, our privacy at home, our children at school, and the most vulnerable in society. But some want to weaken the UK’s commitment to human rights – the frameworks that guarantee our everyday protections.

This is obscene.

That others in politics can’t or won’t say that this is obscene hits at the heart of the problems we face.

We are the 99.999%.

The More We Study Forests, the More It Seems Like Plants Might Be Cooperating and "Talking" to Each Other
Trees may look still and silent, but they’re engaged in a constant, complex dialogue—through air, soil, and even electricity.

Rewatched some Star Trek tonight.
Still wild how a show about warp drives and weird nebulae ends up teaching the cleanest lessons about being human.
Every episode says the same thing in its own way:
‘Be curious. Be brave.

…Try not to fire phasers unless you really have to.”

Just a reminder, the Trumpstein Files are about child abuse. That’s a devastating & life-changing experience & can be triggered by discussions & even posts about abuse. So take care to centre authentic solidarity with survivors. Do not use them for your political agenda.

If there was any doubt, I will not travel to the USA for any reason. #FuckTrump #StopFascists
US could ask tourists for five-year social media history before entry
The plan would affect people from countries, including the UK, who can fill out a form in lieu of a visa.

Despite what you hear from fossil fuel-funded politicians, the U.K has just generated a record amount of clean, domestic wind energy.

Enough to power 23 million homes!

U.K decarbonisation policy is a recipe for energy security.

In Germany the only source of electricity that keeps growing and growing: renewable energy.

Solar and wind keep expanding and even though nuclear is no more coal generation has already shrunk significantly and keeps falling.

EVs beat petrol cars on lifetime emissions — even on “dirty” grids.
Battery production is carbon-intensive, but EVs quickly repay that debt and end up 21–71% cleaner over 250,000 km.

We can’t wait for perfect grids: electrify transport and clean the grid now.

Data centres are energy hungry but what if we could use their waste heat to heat our homes?

That's exactly what happens in places like Finland: Cities are tapping the vast amounts of waste heat generated by data centres, and feeding it into district-heating networks.
