Shimmed the clamping side of the mount so it wouldn't put as much stress on the screws and spaced it evenly between the barrel ribs cause it was bothering me how I set it up before. The cleaning rod does clear the mount, which is nice.

For all 3 people who bought a Zastava Zpap M72 and wanted a way to attach a light to it, the RS Regulate BM-12 barrel mount works and clamps down on the finned section. It's meant for 0.98" OD magtubes but the M72's barrel is 0.945" OD and there's enough adjustability that it won't cause an issue.

The queen of all goofyass setups will forever be this person, with whom we argued with last year over how to properly set up a rifle and wouldn't accept criticism.

Here's my take on an Overlander style watch, using an NH35 movement and less busy dial in a 36mm case. The dial works quite well with the squared-off hands, looks better than I expected.

Customs and Border Patrol reportedly has been having issues where border patrol agents move in front of a running vehicle and use it as justification to shoot the driver and sometimes passengers.

'Agents don't usually use defensive tactics like moving out of the way.'

The enemies of freedom are armed. Most have at least some training.

It is your right as an American to be as armed, to be better trained in a wider field of study than they are, and to be in better shape than they are.

Hit the range. Hit the books. Hit the gym. Be prepared. Stay dangerous.

Gov. Hochul should know that 3d printed guns only made up around 10% of the crime guns submitted to New York State Police for the first 3 quarters of 2025.

Gov. Hochul should also know NY State Police guns are submitted as crime guns 2-4 times as often as privately made guns.

Got ahold of this All Nippon Airways exclusive Seiko Flightmaster from 1999 a bit ago, this thing is neat as shit. Not only does it have a timer that reads accurate to 1/20th of a second but instead of only running 30 or 60 minutes the chrono reads all the way out to 12 hours.

In California starting Feb 1:

Firearm manufacturing machine now includes all 3d printers.

If you don't have an FFL and a CA gunmaker license you can't share G-code or STL files for guns or related materials and can be charged with causing another person to make guns.

"you'd have to be an idiot to use a printed gun, you might get a shot off or you're gonna kill yourself"
incorrect

Wow, turns out that when it's difficult or impossible to get a gun legally, people who want a gun decide to build their own. Who could have guessed. It's not like anyone said this could happen. Completely out of the blue. Mindblowing.

The rules that defined an assault weapon were arbitrary and based on what sounded scary to lawmakers, not based on effectiveness or the fighting capability of the gun.

There's a difference between correlation and causation. The OJP ordered a report on the 1994 AWB and it came back saying that more evidence is needed to tell whether it was effective. Mass shootings rose after it expired but gun homicides stayed low until 2014.
