Second I wanted to show a understanding of how textures can store additional information.

The Animations were achieved by packing the movement direction and index into a texture. The movement direction is determined by the rigid body simulation's velocity at the current frame.

Working on some cliffs now! Rocks are hard.

Also if anyone was curious I actually hand drew the contour lines and map them using screenspace x axis and the height in the material.

Started scripting a tool based on SideFX's lot subdivision tool. I think I can see the path forward. Wanna make a geo nodes setup to have a non-destructive version as well.

I've been working on learning scripting for blender.

Here are some Shader Editor nodes I scripted to try and emulate how I make effects texture in substance designer. Far from usable but kind a cool.

Going to dive into some texture baking things next.
