I'm having so much fun laying beads of metal over @marandart.bsky.social's sketches!
Seriously, new favorite art technique unlocked, it feels so good to make these!
A photo of a metal sculpture of a fox. It looks like a relief carving. The original sketch of the fox.

I sprang on getting some really nice linseed oil + beeswax wood finish for woodburns and it's also food safe!! Itching to use it on the boards I'm making

If buying a cutting/charcuterie board from me, would y'all prefer it to be oiled/sealed and ready for use or just the raw wood? I'm not sure if folks have a preference

The Qupi are real! I made a 3D printed version with magnets hidden inside the chips, then painted them. I'll post more info about this (including a making-of video) soon enough.

If yall don't ask, I can't make it happen!! What do we want more, a big custom woodburn or maybe a custom sculpture or pipe? A coaster set??? 👀 ⁉️
nevesceramics.bsky.social
Hmmmm well my kiln isn't very large so I really can't make anything larger than six by six inches-ish? But I can make a large woodburn no problem 👀
nevesceramics.bsky.social
Nah im comfortable covering shipping for international winners if so!

I'm thinking of holding a raffle when I change my username soon, to get the word out and celebrate a little!

What sort of raffle prize would y'all like me to offer?? I'll probably do one bigger item and a smaller thing like a custom pendant or something :3

Yay glad I could help :3 hell yeah!! I have been wanting to try whittling too, it seems so fun and burning on top of that would look so good. Good luck with whatever you end up trying and feel free to ask me anything if you have other questions too :3

Lemme know if this is confusing and I can make a video or something lol :3 I like using the transparent paper so I can both fit the design to the wood and avoid any knots or weird spots in the wood too.
