The American Academy for Jewish Research invites submissions for the Salo Wittmayer Baron Book Prize. The Baron Book Prize ($3,000) is awarded annually to the author of an outstanding first book in Jewish studies.

#skystorians British/London Historians - Back in the late 1950s, The Center for Urban Studies put together a symposium "London People & Places" covering Irish, Jewish, Polish and West Indian migration. I've the book Ruth Glass wrote on West Indian - Can't find rest or symposium o/p - any pointers?
