Doprava v Praze kolabuje, protože je v ní příliš mnoho aut. Vjezd do města je zdarma, parkování prakticky taky. Město dělá všechno pro to, aby v něm lidé měli auta a aby do něj auty jezdili.

Our Žižek Conference this week in Prague was met with overwhelming interest - registration had to be closed. BUT there is the After Party this Friday 21.11. at Klub FAMU, 19:30. If you're in Prague and wanna meet philosophy enthusiasts, listen to music and have some drinks - see you there! :)
Er ist schon so unser moralisches Klischee, dieser 17.11. Regelmäßig gedenken wir an d. Tag, viele legen Blumen nieder, zünden Kerzen an, das Tsch. Fernsehen sendet durchgehend. Dann fangen wir wieder an, uns gegenseitig rund zu machen. Demokratie und in Freiheit leben sind zwei versch. Begriffe.
Je to už žel takové naše každoroční morální klišé, ten 17.listopad. Pravidelně si v tento den zavzpomínáme a leckdo položí květinu či zapálí svíčku, ČT má k němu kontinuální vysílání. Pak se rozejdeme a začneme se mydlut mezi sebou. Demokracie a žít svobodně jsou odlišné pojmy.

One of the insights I had when teaching a course on the New Right this semester: Denouncing the distinction left/right is at the very core of being politically on the right since the French National Assembly in revolution times. Left/Right is in this sense a "pure difference" of diff. / no diff.
As always when someone says "not left or right but a secret third thing", the third thing is just: the right

Velká média už nepíšou pro lidi. Píšou pro algoristmus. Píšou titulky, co uspějou na twitteru a facebooku, píšou neurčité slovní bahno, které se probojuje do prvních řádků na Googlu. Nepíšou články, reportáže, investigace, ale "generují content," bezbarvý a anonymní.

Vím, že jsem jen cizinec - ale prosím, moji milí Češi: Nevolte Babiše (ani nikoho tak hloupého, aby nechal Ukrajinu padat). Taky si myslím, že Fiala je idiot, ale Rusko je skutečná hrozba. Tohle není hra. #volby2025
