Millennials + Gen Z will be 54% of eligible voters in 2028. It'll be amusing to see how far we can get into the presidential primary cycle before most of the candidates realize this.

"Indeed, in nearly every scenario surveyed, the poll found that most young people—not just most people—rejected anti-Jewish propositions." This sentence from the article directly undercuts the headline and sub headline.

Gen Z is the most racially progressive generation ever.
Those claiming Dems should retreat on racial justice aren't hard-headed realists, they're pushing against the electoral tide rather than leaning into it. The story of Gen Z isn't about racist backlash or red-pilled young men. It's the most racially progressive generation in American history. 🧵

Yes, 30% of people are wrong on almost any topic. Case in point:
"According to the…annual Harris Poll, for the 1st time, a majority of Americans believe billionaires are a threat to democracy. A remarkable 71% believe there should be a wealth tax. A majority believe there should be a cap on how much wealth a person can accumulate." www.nytimes.com/2025/12/14/o...

Build apartments. Apartment and single family home prices move up and down together, because supply is supply. Building apartments is an efficient way to quickly add units of supply to an area.

"Appeasement doesn't work" was the main takeaway from my high school history class's WWII segment. It has been wild to see how many rich, powerful adults in this country apparently don't know what I learned in high school.

Yes. Bad people who like to think of themselves as decent people and are forced to reckon with that gap between their self-image and reality.

The term "New Republicans" is very funny for a group that "are more likely, often substantially more likely, to hold progressive views across nearly every major policy domain." These are not new Republicans. They're voters who are up for grabs if Democrats start nominating more Mamdanis.

I disagree. DOGE proved to me that there's almost zero waste, fraud, or abuse in our federal government. If they'd found some, they would have touted it widely. My faith in government efficiency has never been higher.

Gen Z is the most racially progressive generation. I wonder if Republicans understand that those young Nazis are an extreme outlier for their age group.

Affordability & Healthcare. Sprinkle in some Anti-Corruption, and you've got a stew going!

My takeaway is: Dems should deliver a top line message catering to the "General Wellbeing" group, paired with underlying policy details catering to the "Generally Left-Leaning" group. Seems compatible to me.
