People don't talk nearly enough about the acting job Paul Reiser did in ALIENS. You really hate him throughout the entire film and forget he's a comedian.

Okay so last night was FRIGHT NIGHT (1985), I think for the second night of October I'm going to go with SALEM'S LOT (1979).

You can have the recent remake, I'll take the made for TV classic starring David Soul and James Mason. Still scares the crap out of me to this day.
