Question:

I only read the first two Dune novels, Dune and Dune Messiah.

Are the others worth reading or do they kind of suck?

Despite tournaments and wilderness camping, ‘Tge French Ambassador’ is on page 300 this morning. I hope to finish up before #worldfantasy in Brighton 😊

I love Phil Rickman's books. It's especially great reading them around this time of year. So sad that we lost him a couple of years ago.

People don't talk nearly enough about the acting job Paul Reiser did in ALIENS. You really hate him throughout the entire film and forget he's a comedian.

I may have watched it twice that night.

Okay so last night was FRIGHT NIGHT (1985), I think for the second night of October I'm going to go with SALEM'S LOT (1979).

You can have the recent remake, I'll take the made for TV classic starring David Soul and James Mason. Still scares the crap out of me to this day.

I really need a new Rian Hughes book. Really hope he's working on one because I'm going through withdrawal.

For the horror crowd, though, it’s all about the spookiness, and here Drex pulls absolutely no punches. Demons, ghosts, spectral birds, shapeshifters, torture, reincarnation, revenge, nightmarish imagery, all get their turn by the book’s astonishingly dark denouement.

Sheri S. Tepper’s work is truly captivating! 🌌✨ Her storytelling is a beautiful gateway into the wonders of SFF. What’s your favorite book of hers? #SciFi #Fantasy #ReadingJoy 📚💖

Been reading a lot of Sheri S. Tepper lately. She was the first sff author whose books really got me into the sf & fantasy genres. It's been great reconnecting with the stories that dazzled me so much as a considerably younger man just discovering the wonder and excitement of speculative fiction.

If you're not reading 10 books at the same time, what are you even doing?
