I write to you today from the forward trenches, having just been moved up scarcely half a fortnight ago. The other they/thems in the regiment are saying it’s General’s orders, but it’s hard to know for sure; nobody seems to have any purpose or power here.
The front is as terrible as you may so imagine. Every day the posts come roaring down the timeline, and every day we grow ever more grim about the mouth as we dunk and quote-retweet. This whole blasted war wears terribly on my soul, Mommy, and I feel as though I might shrivel all up into ash, like crêpe papier set before the hearth.
But there is some relief to be found, Mommy, if not hope. It must sound strange, but there is no force I have yet found which shall compare to discovering a comrade to shore up against in a dark and hopeless thread; though you may share but one or two followers with them, or none at all, you feel as though their faves buoy you up from the brown, filthy water. You fight alongside them but once, then they are gone, but the feeling stays with you.
I grow weary, so that is all I shall write for now, Mommy, save to send you you all my uwu’s and 🥺’s.

When the desktop gets too messy I create a folder named the ISO date code and the word "Desktop" and I store that folder in the Documents folder in a folder called "Old Desktops Archive."

Every once in a while my trash can beeps when I take the trash out. I have not found a brand of 10-year detectors that lasts longer than 2 years. First Alert can eat shit. Gimme one of those radioactive ones from the 70s.
