Life hack: Go to your local bike shop and buy a new or used bicycle. Put fenders, rack, and panniers on it. Ride it for every commute under five miles. Groceries, arends, everything. Keep at it.

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

Honor is more than doing the right thing. It is knowing what the right thing to do is, and knowing that some dilemmas are difficult and may have no satisfactory answer. Compassion, equality, and justice are guideposts toward honor. Let them lead you, even imperfectly, toward it.
