Is it wrong to feel very smug when you walk past the long queue in Costa to pick up your coffees that you've ordered on click & collect?

One thing I've just noticed since ditching Twitter/X for this place is that I'd forgotten all about GBnews.

You don't get peace by appeasing tyrants. The idea that Ukraine can't defend itself lest we upset Putin is not just dumb it is dangerous. Why should he be allowed to fire foreign made missiles at Ukraine and throw North Korean troops at the front - while Kyiv just sits politely on its hands.

I have to say the whining by the farmers is far more pathetic than about Private School VAT.

They are literally demanding to be exempted from tax so the same people can own 90% of the UK forever.

It is disgusting arrogance.

It's my opinion that Victoria Derbyshire should replace Laura Kuenssberg on every single BBC show she is on, and she should do it right now.

I'm sure you agree.

40% of UK Farmland is owned by billionaires.

Now you know why they are so angry it will be taxed.

I don't blame the farmers.
I blame the Brexiters who stitched them up like kippers and the very same people who are now "backing the cause".... oh and the tabloid owning millionaires and their billionaire mates who have conned them into believing a whopping pack of lies.

Currently the UK spends an average of £210,000 a year to look after a child in Social Care, with over £45,000 in private profits from each one.

A disgusting system which costs a fortune and does nothing but funnel money to billionaires.

The lot needs to be nationalised, ASAP.

Do you remember these same people’s reaction any time a Labour shadow minister supported a junior doctors’ picket?

“When WE do it, it’s patriotic…”
Naturally, all those people who screwed farms with Brexit, not replacing EU subsidies, letting climate change wreck the countryside, and doing terrible deals that put farms at a competitive disadvantage, are today on the front of their picket line, all bad blood forgotten. ~AA

Very very rich people, land owners, are upset. Very very rich farmers are upset,

The Labour government who promised they would govern for the many, is obviously doing what they promised.

Keep going.

Could Jeremy Clarkson secretly be trying to sabotage farmers by losing in the court of public opinion?

Certainly feels like that with his numerous unhelpful interventions into the IHT debate.
Jeremy Clarkson is turning up to the protest tomorrow.

A reminder that he bought his 312-acre farm in 2012 for £4.25million in HIS OWN WORDS so that he:

*would not be required pay death duties on the land*

If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up.

If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds
