Don’t let the internet fool you. I was at a protest for trans kids yesterday an HOUR south of Seattle, and it was HUGE. And there was a cacophony of drivers beeping in support.

I could not believe it. Because I spend too much online and figured it’s a lost cause.

But also just increasingly weird that a huge part of their recent electoral success relies on a bunch of influencers/scam artists who have no interest in this white nationalist project. Not to mention growth with Hispanic/Black/Asian voters.

Think about it. "Dems were too zealous in trying to prevent the spread of the virus" is, in US politics, a greater disadvantage, a bigger problem, than "Republican lies got hundreds of thousands of Americans killed for no reason."

We’re beyond historical precedent, but it’s difficult to imagine a weak, “we’ll work with the other side” actually taking back power. Even if they won the election, they wouldn’t fight the GOP shenanigans to overturn the results.

So I think by nature they can never take back control.
