Want to watch a video about strategies for explicit vocabulary instruction? Or, would you rather watch a video with explicit vocabulary? Well, the first option is here - researchschool.org.uk/clips-from-t... and for the second option you will probably have to google Eminem.

4. Being told your setting can't meet need but there being no other setting nearby that will take your child. Tales of kids out of school for years at a time. Parents having to give up work. Remortgaging. Being solely responsible for 24 hour medical care.

Small things that make a big environmental difference:

- shopping locally
- eating a few plant based meals a week
- riding your bike
- not having your wedding attended via 100 private jets
- composting

Just a reminder, you’re probably making a bigger impact than you think. For example, I’m willing to bet that basically none of you went to space for 11 minutes this week

Have a fantastic time. Beautiful area

aha! Amazing. That's exactly the stretch I thought it was - I was looking at a photo taken here, thinking it must be around there somewhere :-)
It's such a long, diverse river, but bits of it are really firmly stuck in my head!

Whereabouts are you, Jonathan? We cycled the length of the Rhine (source to sea) a few years ago, and this feels like the area West of Mainz (Bacharch), but we saw a lot of river! So I'm interested...
Anyway... enjoy :-)

Exhausted but buzzing with ideas and energy after the Research Schools National Conference. So much to think about and great to catch up with colleagues and share ideas. Also enjoyed delivering session with Susi and Simon about collaboration and comms, including all the things I've learnt from Susi!

While I struggle to get my 14 year old to get out of bed, other people are struggling to get this age group to understand the structure of an atom. Well, @chemDrk has solved one of these problems by creating an animated poster of the atomic structure.
Everything you need to teach the structure of the atom
With this poster and fact sheet, your 14-16 learners will soon know their electrons from their protons
