If you're feeling overwhelmed, it's intentional. They're calling it "flooding the zone." The intent is to overwhelm and exhaust us so we can not effectively resist. Something simple you can do right now now is to make sure to take breaks and rest.

Every time I hear people say "we need a real life Katniss Everdeen" I think about how Katniss Everdeen was a 16 year old girl put on a pedestal to be a symbol against her wishes.

And I think about all the grown adults who could be doing the work instead of hoping a fictional kid will save us

Stop letting unfunny men tell you there’s something wrong with you for not getting their “jokes”. Stop fake laughing. Let their reality reflect the truth of how fundamentally they misunderstand humor. Neuter their ability to use “it was a joke” for emotional cover. Make them see nobody laugh.

A big misconception about Greenland is that since it’s labeled a Danish colony, its residents are just a bunch of white dudes named Kristian—which is extremely harmful and inaccurate.

The population is 85% Indigenous! It belongs to the Kalaallit people, not to Denmark and CERTAINLY not to the U.S.
