What a tragic loss of him and his wife. Seems like a really talented and good dude.

Yep
Reader, he is, in fact, making this stuff up
Kudlow is just lying to his viewers: "Unemployment is at rock bottom. These are real facts. I'm not making this stuff up. Unemployment claims are as low as they're ever going to get."

Many women try their best and can't breastfeed, including my mother. I am a completely formula fed baby and I became a pediatrician. Formula saved my life and helped me thrive. I support breastfeeding but formula is a marvelous option if you can't breastfeed.
As with everything he says, this is wildly uninformed. Formula keeps getting better and saves lives. And modern research indicates that outcomes are roughly the same. There are reasons to breastfeed but your child isn’t suffering if you don’t
RFK Jr: "All of the ingenuity of corporate America has not produced an infant formula that is superior in nutrition and all the qualities that we want to the infant formula that God made, which is the infant formula in a mother's breast."

This is a long but remarkable read. I already knew RFK Jr. Couldn't be trusted, be he says it himself in this article both literally and with his reported actions.
I’ve been waiting for an article like this for some time, and while it’s not what I was hoping for — which, on reflection, would be kind of a supervillain’s monologue, which don’t actually happen — it may be the best we’ll ever get. Gift link:

As a practicing pediatric physician, this is incorrect and misleading.

Glad to hear journalists call people out on their shit.
KARL: The president claims that Thanksgiving costs are down 25%. Does he know that's not true?

HASSETT: Well if you look at Walmart--

KARL: Wait a minute. I've gotta stop you. The Walmart package this year contains much less than the one last year. That's why the price is less.

Every team is spending a higher % of their possessions in the bonus compared to last season...except the Kings

Thank you wholesome memes for keeping us sane during this troubling time.

I feel like we're not gonna light the beam very often this season

It just makes too much sense
Same guy who declared bankruptcy 6 times shut down the U.S. government 4 times in 5 years of being President. They wanted him to run the government like his businesses and that’s exactly what he’s doing.

Truly remarkable
Just one circuit on the 2025 F1 calendar has eluded Max Verstappen...

So far.

We are not accomplishing anything good here
The Crown Fountain is a wonderful installation in which water from two large columns which show faces of Chicagoans floods a court with an inch of so of water. When it opened, the city was surprised by how many families would come to let their kids splash in it. Including mine.

This is a travesty
The FDA statement ends with a paragraph undermining its own warning.

They signal parents to avoid acetaminophen. Except sometimes. And then:

No “causal relationship… established” with ADHD or autism

AND

Alternatives to acetaminophen have “well-documented adverse impacts.”

This brings me a lot of joy! Happy to hear a spot I used to live is doing something so marvelous!

This is an incredible take
One of the things I really liked about S2 of “Andor” was how few Imperial Stormtroopers there were.

Lucas put them in masks for two reasons, IMHO: 1) it made them terrifying, their inhuman faces frozen in frowns, with no pity, feeling, etc. Echo of his enforcer robots in THX-1138.

Been a lot of anger and negativity lately. In all honesty, I've been angry. Kids should be able to go to school without fear of getting shot. That makes me angry as a father and as a pediatrician.

In challenging times like this, I just keep trying to remember

Yup
Yep. Normal politics died on November 5, 2024 (if not sooner). I'm deeply skeptical of the idea that voters who pulled the lever for Trump when he was clearly an insanely self-destructive choice will make better decisions next time around. Hope I'm wrong though!
One year ago this week (tomorrow) was this moment in which Trump alleged immigrants were "eating the dogs" and "eating the cats."

He was then elected president. This is your president.
