Here’s a very weird fun fact for you: the size of the Snare/Explosion sound sample in Super Mario Kart takes up “the square root of 2” percent of the space of the cartridge.

(For reference, the sample is 7415 bytes in size, and Super Mario Kart is a 512kB cartridge, 524288 bytes)

It sounds like Nintendo spent way more time rationalising why they should not credit Grant Kirkhope than it would have taken just to add his name to the credits with the countless other people there. There's no good justification for this. It's unacceptable.
